The 2011 Ford Explorer just went live to the web at midnight, launching with a standard V-6 engine and optional EcoBoost four-cylinder in the car-based Taurus/Flex platform. Now we have the latest photos and videos of the new Explorer to help you get a better feel for what it looks like, what it does, and, perhaps, what it doesn't.

The videos below detail the Trailer Sway Control, Blind Spot Information System, and Terrain Management System. For those concerned with the Explorer's move to a unibody car-based platform, the Terrain Management System video is sure to be the most interesting, as it shows the Explorer going through the range of its terrain settings in the respective environs.

There's also a few minutes of b-roll footage to consume, offering detail and rolling shots of the vehicle to get a better feel for what it'll be like on the road and in person.

Enjoy.
