While German tuners generally tend to stick with a single marque, tinkering with the likes of BMWs, Audis, Mercedes or Porsches to the exclusion of others, American tuner Vorsteiner works with all three marques, and its latest creation has tuners from around the world sitting up and taking notice. Borrowing inspiration from a now-neglected slice of Mercedes’ own factory-produced special-edition lineup, the Vorsteiner car shows what could have been.

Working with the latest 2010 Mercedes-Benz E63 AMG, Vorsteiner has attempted to recreate the flavor of Mercedes-Benz Black Series models, which have extra power and lighter kerb weights to provide a more exhilarating driving experience.

The new kit, called V6E, only features aerodynamic enhancements for now but we can expect some future performance upgrades in the near future.

In the meantime, anyone upgrading their E63 along the lines of the Vorsteiner V6E kit can enjoy a new front spoiler and rear wing, an integrated diffuser and side skirts. All parts are made from lightweight carbon-fiber.

Other items include forged wheels wrapped in Michelin Pilot Sport PS2 tires.
