In a fit that would make Cinderella proud, RM Auctions has announced it will hold a classic and collector car auction during the 7th Historic Monaco Grand Prix. Over 100 of the finest cars currently available will be up for grabs, paired with an audience that undeniably appreciates their worth.

Of course, not all of us will be able to make it there, so we're covering the highlights here. Among the 105 cars on the block will be a 1938 Delahaye 135 MS Competition Cabriolet, chassis #49197, with one-off coachwork by Figoni et Falaschi, including custom red leather interior and upholstery by Hermes. Its estimated value is between 1.7 and 2.0 million euros, or $2.25-2.65 million.

Joining it will be the 1960 Maserati Tipo 61 'Birdcage' chassis #2470, one of just 17 built, and featuring a strong provenance and racing history. It is valued between 2.4 and 2.6 million euros, or $3.15-3.4 million. Finally, a 1933 Rolls-Royce Phantom II "Special Town Car" by Brewster, chassis #218 AMS, will also cross the block, offering a one-off design and a buy-in to one of the only three remaining original-coachwork "special town cars" in existence. Estimated value is available upon request.

Many, many more incredible cars with storied history and unique design will also be up for auction, not to mention the cars that will participate in the Historic Grand Prix itself. If you've got a weekend to spare and the cash and flash to keep up in Monaco, there are worse things you could do with your time.

The auction and the Grand Prix take place in Monaco, this weekend, May 1-2.
