The AMG Driving Academy just got a lot more interesting: you can now work your way up to getting the SLS AMG GT3 on track in the Masters program.

You may remember the SLS AMG GT3 from our live coverage of the world debut event in Oaxaca, Mexico. The FIA race-ready car pegs the pricing needle at about $430,000--but you don't have to buy one if you can afford tuition to AMG's Driving Academy. Four stages in the Masters package include: Experience, Warm-Up, Training, and Competition.

Of course, rank novices won't be able to suit up and take the racer out on track--at least not for the whole Masters package. You can experience the SLS AMG GT3 on track without any previous requirements, including a ride-along hot lap with an instructor. The the Warm-up, Training, and Competition stages behind the wheel of the GT3 require prior completion of track training.

Pricing for the new Masters program starts from 1500 euros, or about $2,100. The Competition phase of the Masters program, which adds the chance to compete on track in individual and team events, will be available from the end of 2012.
