The Lexus LS 460 soldiers on into the 2012 model year with minimal updates, with both the standard LS 460 and long-wheelbase LS 460 L remaining, and once again offered with the option of rear-wheel or all-wheel drive configurations.

The only change for the 2012 model year is the introduction of Nebula Gray Pearl instead of Smoky Granite Mica.

Power still comes from a 4.6-liter V-8 engine rated at 380 horsepower and 367 pound-feet of torque. However, if you opt for the all-wheel drive model this dips to 357 horsepower and 344 pound-feet of torque.

An eight-speed automatic also remains, helping the big sedan accelerate from 0-60 mph in a brisk 5.4 seconds. Opt for the all-wheel drive model and you’ll take 5.9 seconds for the same sprint.

Fuel economy comes in at an EPA-rated 16/24 mpg city/highway rating, 16 city/23 highway for the all-wheel drive.

An available Sport Package adds 19-inch alloys, as well as Brembo brakes, stiffer suspension, a distinctive bodykit and paddle shifters for the automatic transmission.

Luxury features include an available 19-speaker Mark Levinson sound system, Lexus Enform telematics and connectivity, massage functions, Alcantara trim, eight airbags, and an array of safety sensors.
