Tapping the world of hip-hop for official car customization isn't a new thing at Ford--the Blue Oval's relationship with Funkmaster Flex has been going on since at least 2006, when Flex tricked out an Expedition for SEMA. It continued in 2008 when Flex took on the Ford Flex alongside Chip Foose, and paired up with Nelly to promote it. So the Funkmaster Flex Ford Fiesta is no surprise, really, though its final design will be.

So far Ford is only letting on that the Fiesta will be customized by the Funkmaster as part of his MTV2 show "Funk Flex Full Throttle." The car will be given away to a viewer as part of the promotion. A custom 2010 Taurus and Fusion will also be in the shop undergoing Funkmaster Flex's treatment.

Flex says of the pint-size custom: “Whoever wins this vehicle is going to be hitting the streets in a mean vehicle that has some serious technology on the inside. Ford really got it poppin’ with this vehicle and showed how you can take a small vehicle and push it to the next level.”

The episode airs May 2, but you can enter for a chance to win the car through July 2 at Ford's Urban site.
