With production of the Lincoln Town Car--and its Panther platform stablemates--coming to an end, Ford is now in need of a replacement for its popular limousine. That replacement could potentially be this new Lincoln MKT Town Car Livery package, which was revealed this week at the 2011 Limousine, Charter and Tour show in Las Vegas.

Ford has unveiled both a MKT Town Car Livery package as well as a long-wheelbase MKT Town Car Limousine, and plans to start production of the new vehicles at its Oakville assembly plant in Ontario, Canada this spring.

Benefits of the MKT over the previous Town Cars include a taller stance, making entry and egress easier, more interior space, as well as latest SYNC and Wi-Fi amenities for the driver. Passengers also get a USB charging port, a 110-volt power socket in the rear seat center console, and Wi-Fi hotspot capability for mobile tablets, laptops and other devices.

Current Lincoln Town Car production ends this fall. For more details on the regular ‘civilian’ Lincoln MKT, check out our previous review by clicking here.
