WWJD: What Would Julia Drive?
It's a question that's crossed our mind, since we're getting some household pressure to see this summer's ultimate chunky-chick flick. No, we haven't seen Julie & Julia yet--no offense, Amy Adams but we're into whole movies, not two half-movies. And we're a little insulted by your line, "I could write a blog." Not everyone is a writer, just like not everyone is a French chef or Oscar nominee. And frankly, Dan Aykroyd did a better Julia Child by our call.
Still, motor oil and a nice Bechamel are somewhat alike: both are better rich and thick, than weak and thin. So for rampant speculation today--it seems she may never have driven at all--here's what we picture Julia Child motoring in:
Citroen 2CV
Citroen 2CV (Deux Chevaux): Because it's French, and because of its vague resemblance to snails, one of her favorite dishes.

Bugatti Veyron 16.4 Veyron Grand Sport Sang Bleu: Because she earned it, it's also French, and it's literally named "blue blood," like the warmly hysterical accent she developed living in France.
