Hummer's prepping the H4

GM is considering expanding the Hummer line-up to include a smallish Jeep Wrangler competitor for release in 2008. The new model would be dubbed the H4 and designed to stem the lack of sales for its bigger brothers due to higher oil prices.

The report by Automotive News also mentioned that the H3 would get a V8 engine option for next year and the H2 would be updated with the GMT-900 platform for 2010. Greenies who were hoping to see a hybrid Hummer will be sorely disappointed.

  if this is going to be the new h4 i will be very disapointed . it looks like jeep liberty very lame for a hummer
