The new Chevrolet sedan will be roughly the same size the Volkswagen Jetta and will go into production shortly after its world debut at the Paris Motor Show. The new sedan is being designed as a global model and will eventually be sold in Europe, North America and Asia. In North America the new model is expected to replace the current Chevrolet Cobalt.
It will be sold alongside the current Lacetti hatchback and station wagon and will eventually spawn a new five-door hatchback model as well. Other models in the pipeline include a coupe-cabrio variant, compact SUV and a possible hybrid.
GM will also use the Paris show to make an announcement about a new European version of the Volt plug-in hybrid, a new Beat minicar and European launch details for the upcoming Camaro muscle car.

theyre going to launch the camero in europe? they already sell the corvette there.... why bother? the corvette is the kind of car that can sell in europe.. the camero is a muscle car... not a sports car.

The C6 corvette costs over 90000 euros in Europe and thats not the kind of car that sells in volumes.I'm a corvette fan but for that money i'd buy an R8 or a 911.
If the camaro is launched in Europe with the 2.0L turbo engine (from the solstice GXP,saturn sky red line etc) it won't cost anywhere near as much as the corvette especially considering the euro-dollar exchange rate allowing it to sell in sufficient numbers
