Ferrari to unveil new model at Frankfurt

Fiat Chairman Luca Cordero di Montezemolo has told reporters at the Geneva auto show that Ferrari plans to release a new model based on the F430 at the Frankfurt show in September.

In a statement to Reuters, Montezemolo said that the new model had been developed using Formula 1 technology on which there had been some “key research.”

The timing of the announcement means it’s likely the new car will be the long awaited F430 Challenge Stradale, which has been spotted by spy photographers in recent times.
