Fifty years ago, Ferrari began production of the rare 250 GT Spyder California and only 105 rolled off the assembly line. The highlight may be the sight of one of the rarest and most coveted of the Californias, the 250 GT Spyder, which was manufactured for competition and features all-aluminum bodywork, a larger gas-tank, a more powerful engine and a string of racing wins under its belt.
The Concours d'Elegance will also showcase the only Ferrari 400 Superamerica built by the factory with Spyder California coachwork. Its Pebble Beach appearance marks the first showing of it anywhere in the world, and even the standard Ferrari 400 Superamerica remains ultra-rare to this day with only 50 examples ever built.
