So what do you get for all those extra dollars? The car, first of all, undergoes an extensive weight saving program, which sees more than 40lbs shed from its kerb weight thanks to the addition of carbon fiber and the removal of unnecessary items (for a race car) such as the radio and sound proofing.
Engineers then install a set of adjustable coil-over racing dampers from KW Suspensions, a new front stabilizer bar and two-piece slotted StopTech rotors mated to Brembo calipers. The combo shaves another 60lbs from the weight of the stock Viper and brings the ACR to a halt from 60mph within 100ft. Check out our more detailed story by clicking here.
