Lexus IS-F images leaked!

isf2.jpgCarmakers are always warning publications not to break embargoes, but what happens when the company breaks its own embargo? This time Lexus revealed low-quality images of the upcoming IS-F in an online ad, giving us the first glimpse of its V8-engined M3 killer. Compared to the standard IS, the IS-F has an aggressive bodykit all-round, including massive vents in the front, and sideskirts.

The ad confirms that the IS-F will have more than 400hp (we’re expecting it to be in the region of 420hp), that it’ll have a 5.0L V8, and will hit 0-62mph in under 5 seconds. We can’t wait till it’s officially revealed on Sunday. Click here for a link to the original ad.

Having owned twelve BMW over the last 15 years, I am afraid their latest offering in the form of the 335 coupe only proves that their design team have lost the plot.I suspect that the new M3 will be more of the same.If the new ISF offering from Lexus lives up to the images then BMW will be in real trouble. When buying a performance car in the M3 vein one requires the car to look the part. Not a tarted-up 3 series coupe.

I’d consider buying it if it was available as a coupe and the performance was up to scratch.
