Buick and Lexus both scored a rating of 145 problems per 100 vehicles, a significant leap above the industry average of 216 problems. Rounding out the top five was Cadillac in third place followed by Mercury and Honda, reports the Detroit News.
Buick’s latest offerings have definitely seen a marked leap in quality in recent years, but we wonder how new models being developed in China will compare in coming years.

That may be. But while Buick has been upgrading just about everything in their lineup, I still do not think that the materials used are Lexus grade yet. Though that day may be fast approaching...

OK. Let's say that Buick is a la par with Lexus in quality. Do they still have to be designing cars that look and feel like they are two generations behind that of their competitors? That car in the picture is a throwback to the old long boat days and would have felt at home in the early 90s.
