Brabus celebrates 30th with Frankfurt show car

Popular Mercedes-Benz tuner Brabus will be celebrating 30 years of building cars with the unveiling of its ‘wolf in sheep’s clothing’ show car at next month’s Frankfurt Auto Show. Brabus is most famous for strapping in insanely powerful engines into regular sedan models, and it’s had a number of world’s fastest four-door titles under its belt.

Some of the previous greats include the 1996 V12 powered E-Class that set a new world record for the fastest street-legal sedan with a clocked speed of 205mph (330km/h). That record has stood until this year when Brabus’ new Rocket sedan reached a top speed of 227.2mph (365.7km/h).

We suspect the Frankfurt car will be based on Mercedes’ latest C-class sedan, but with a monster V12 shoehorned into its engine bay.
