The special edition model carries the ‘Premier Edition’ tag and comes with a dark gray Platinum Graphite exterior, 19in aluminum wheels, exclusive Monaco Red leather-trimmed interior with hand-crafted and red-stained genuine maple wood trim, plus a special grille.
Dedicated phone lines will open on November 10 at 12:00pm CST to begin taking orders for the limited run of 200 Premier Edition convertibles, Edmunds reports.
The new G37 Convertible will go on sale soon after its debut at next month’s Los Angeles Auto Show, however the Premier Edition will be available exclusively through the Bloomingdale's catalogue. Pricing is yet to be announced.
The car’s mechanical package is unchanged, which means the Premier Edition will feature the standard model’s 328hp (245kW) 3.7L V6 engine and seven-speed automatic transmission. Other features include full automatic climate control, a Bose Open Air sound system, heated and cooled front seats, a touchscreen navigation system and iPod interface.
