The car is also fitted with a limited-slip differential that can be had in both the Cooper S and the special John Cooper Works (JCW) performance variant. The engine upgrades are complemented with a new AC Schnitzer sports silencer in special steel with a chrome racing tailpipe for the Cooper S and JCW. AC Schnitzer has also unveiled new suspension components, available in the form of a suspension spring kit and a height-adjustable racing suspension set-up. In conjunction with an aluminum strut brace for the front, the new suspension should make the Mini drop-top even more agile than it already is. Visually, the designers at AC Schnitzer have come up with new front spoilers and rear skirts for the car, which they claim also offer aerodynamic advantages on top of giving a sportier appearance. New decals on the side and custom alloy wheels also add to the car's appearance, while custom AC Schnitzer gear knobs, handbrakes, pedals and foot rests can be had inside, along with velour floor mats.AC Schnitzer Mini Cooper Cabrio Read More

The BMW gets two new wheel designs from AC Schnitzer, with both a ‘Type V’ alloy five-spoke set as well as a less ornamental set with multispokes available. Both sets for the 2009 BMW 7-series are decked out in a flat black color or striking silver, giving the car a more menacing flavor than the stock wheels. Customers can also pick from several different sizes, with dimensions ranging from 18 to 22in in diameter. The biggest set is the 22in Edition Race wheel, which measures up to 345mm in width for the rear wheels and 245mm in the front. To further distinguish the cars, AC Schnitzer has developed a new front lip spoiler, as well as a pair of side skirts attachments to emphasise the car's wheelbase and lengthen it visually. Towards the rear, these are lifted and widened to give the car a more muscular look. To finish off the look, AC Schnitzer adds a pair of chromed trapezoidal exhausts that provide a much sportier sound than the stock unit. The new cars will be on display for the first time at next week’s Geneva Motor Show.AC Schnitzer 2009 BMW 7-series Read More

The Aachen-based company claims that the new aesthetic appearance places an emphasis on dynamics and that "instead of bulky curves, straight and slender forms are used." Additionally, in homage to BMW’s race cars, the front spoiler elements finish at the bottom in a pointed "bow“. In terms of performance and handling upgrades, AC Schnitzer uses its own suspension components to make the car faster around corners than the stock model. This includes a new suspension spring kit, as well as the option of either sports suspension or racing suspension tunes. For those with a little extra cash, AC Schnitzer recommends getting the extra sports antiroll bar and strut brace kit for the front and rear to further improve the handling. The engine lineup has also been tinkered with, and AC Schnitzer is especially proud of its work on the new six-cylinder 3.0d, which delivers 245hp (180kW) and 384lb-ft (520Nm) in standard form but thanks to a new ECU is now capable of outputting 284hp (209kW) and 420lb-ft (570Nm) of torque. A host of other custom items can be had, including new side mirrors, alloy wheels, carbon door panels, a sports steering wheel, and engine upgrades for all the diesel variants of the 3-series as well as the twin-turbo petrol-engined 335i.AC Schnitzer E90/91 BMW 3-Series Read More
