Gotham Dream Cars gives access to five Lamborghinis for $1,500

A New York car rental company has come out with a fairly interesting proposition - for the relatively small sum of $1,495, the Gotham Dream Cars company will offer members of the public a five-hour, five-Lamborghini driving tour, starting at its exclusive clubhouse in Northern New Jersey. If that part of the deal wasn't sweet enough, the company will also be offering its customers a chance to ride shotgun with former Lamborghini chief test driver Valentino Balboni as part of the package.

While Balboni was around during the Countach-era of Lamborghini, the cars Gotham Dream Cars is offering are a little more modern. Each driver will get to drive five Lamborghinis in total, and the lineup includes the likes of the Murcielago LP 640, Gallardo LP 560-4, Gallardo Spyder and the Murcielago Roadster.

There will be four tours offered for a total of two days running from June 9 to June 10, with space limited to only 40 drivers. If you can't quite make it for the tour, the company also hires out exotic cars that aren't limited to Lamborghini models, such as cars from the likes of Ferrari, Bentley and Aston Martin.

The idea of pooling resources to get access to a wide range of the most exotic four-wheeled machinery available isn't new, though it is still rather exclusive. Groups like P1 International in the UK and The Supercar Club in Australia have built the genre over the past few years, while newcomers like the RS Academy have helped expand it.

A bit closer to home is North Carolina’s Supercar Sensation, which offers packages from as low as $199 for wheel time with cars like the Ferrari F430, Lamborghini Gallardo, and Nissan GT-R.
