New Williams to debut in Portugal

December 31st, 1969 Dec.18 (GMM) Williams has confirmed that its 2009 car will make its track debut in Portugal on January 19. The event is set to take place at the new Algarve Motor Park circuit, on the same day that Renault is set to unveil its R29. It emerged recently that Williams' event will not be a traditional launch, and the British team on Thursday confirmed the debut of the FW31 will simply coincide with a pitlane photocall and interviews. The car will be running a winter test livery, with the full colours to be unveiled prior to the Melbourne season opener.
Dec.18 (GMM) Williams has confirmed that its 2009 car will make its track debut in Portugal on January 19.
