New GTS400 model develops 410hp (305kW) thanks to an uprated induction and exhaust system, plus a remapped ECU
Enlarge PhotoThe GTS400 also incorporates a flat floor running the full length of the car, joining the front splitter and rear diffuser, which already provide impressive downforce at both axles. The car also has added cooling ducts, to accommodate its twin intercoolers, as well as an upgraded clutch and traction control system.
The mid-mounted engine sends drive to the rear wheels via a six-speed manual gearbox, and according to its maker the GTS400 will accelerate from 0-60mph in about 3.7 seconds and reach a top speed in excess of 185mph.
Brakes are AP Racing with six-pot calipers and 350mm vented discs in the front and 328mm units up back. Suspension is fully adjustable dampers with Eibach coil-over springs and the standard carbon-fiber wheels measure in at 20in. Inside, there’s Sparco racing buckets and a touch-screen interface for the satnav, climate control and stereo system.
Farbio already has a long list of orders from customers in the U.K., U.S., Scandinavia and Thailand, and been building the cars since the middle of the year.
