December 31st, 1969 This is the latest spy pic of the soon to be released BMW M3, caught here testing earlier this week in sunny California. Expect the new M3 to sport an aggressive front spoiler and perhaps even a bonnet bulge, just to let onlookers know your packing 400 ponies under that hood. Curiously, why has California suddenly become the car testing capital of the world? With recent tests of the Volkswagen Touareg and Camaro concept, is it all just a publicity stunt?
