The Miura moves closer

The Miura moves closer

December 31st, 1969 Will Lamborghini’s new Enzo rival be labelled the Miura? There have been many suggestions that it will. The Miura concept shown again, recently at the Goodwood FOS, the new supercar is expected to be built in limited numbers, roughly 300 to 400 units per year. It will most likely be based on the Audi’s Le Mans coupe platform, so expect a mid-engined V12, probably displacing about 6.5-litres with power up around the 700bhp mark. Drive is also likely to be through all four wheels, but with a rear-drive bias. This will not be a hard-edged race car like the Enzo, but expect performance to be above that of the Murcielago LP640.
