December 31st, 1969 These are the first official photos of the Gold Porsche, created by a small company in Germany. It's gilded out of 22 carat beaten gold at the hands of artists rather than factory workers. Rather than looking totally over the top, we're actually quite liking the gold finish, though its hard to tell only from photos. Either way, we're sure the nine cars they're converting will be picked up by the usual Arab Sheik/Rapper/Footballer/Basketballer variety. Click more for high res images.
