December 31st, 1969 Police in New York are about to get their hands on a small fleet of 15, new 2006 Dodge Chargers. The promotion was setup to deter offenders from trying to outrun the police in deadly car chases and not only does the new Charger out accelerate and outrun the old Ford Crown Victorias and Chevrolet Impalas, it gets better gas mileage too. The 0 to 60 takes only 6.5 seconds while top speed is 150mph. The car packs a 340hp V8 and has some added safety features including vehicle stability control as well as a stealth mode, where all the lights including interior displays can be turned off for creeping.
