December 31st, 1969 Lexus’ upcoming LF-A supercar will have a hybrid option for those enthusiasts that are concerned about the environment. Lexus will have the most diverse range of hybrid vehicles and by no means are the enviro-friendly vehicles a compromise for performance. The most likely motor will be the powerplant from the Lexus 600h sedan. This means a 5.0-litre V8 combined with an electric motor developing 435hp (323kW). The other engine option is another V8 with a higher output. The LF-A will be displayed at next years’ Tokyo Motor Show, which will consider with Japanese Grand Prix and will debut as the official pace car.
