Real world images of the Hyundai Arnejs
December 31st, 1969
Update: Added one more image from the front. Also, we've been asked how to pronounce the name of this concept. It's pronounced "Ar-nez".
Probably the hottest looking Hyundai we’ve ever seen, the upcoming Arnejs showcases a new design trend that Hyundai has adopted. The car, which was co developed with Kia, is aimed at European markets where its main rivals will be the Volkswagen Golf and Opel Astra. Though a production version is not due until early next year, we do have real-world images of this concept version that is likely to be almost identical to the production Arnejs.
The car’s underpinnings are based on Kia’s C’eed hatchback that will be sold in Europe only. The new Hyundai version will feature levels of quality never before seen in a Korean car, although production will likely be in Eastern Europe. The Arnejs concept will be officially unveiled at the Paris Motor Show and may even include a hybrid version.
Thanks to Jeremy for the tip.
