Koenigsegg CCX bites the dust
December 31st, 1969
We’ve never believed in a car being cursed, but there’s definitely something unlucky about this sad looking Koenigsegg. A similar accident occurred recently (click here to see a video), when a brand new CCX was spun out of control on its maiden run. The then owner, Norwegian millionaire Tommy Sharif, returned the car, which we believe is actually the same one seen here.
Part of the Koenigsegg experience is an optional course on high performance driving, something that the current owner neglected to take part in. Subsequently, he ended up crashing the car within 18 hours of taking delivery. The driver was actually a nephew of one of the owners of an H&M retail store, and crashed into a garbage truck while trying to overtake another vehicle. Fortunately, all parties involved were uninjured.
