New images of the SAIC Roewe 750E
December 31st, 1969
The first car from the newly appointed Roewe label from China’s Shanghai Automotive Industry Corp has already been captured numerous times in prototype form, but we now have some new images depicting the final version. The car is expected to make its public debut in November’s Beijing Motor Show before possibly arriving at the Detroit Motor Show in January.
The car will be very well equipped when it does go on sale. A range topping model will feature a 2.5L V8 engine, and will be equipped with plenty of accessories including a DVD player, Xenon lamps, Bluetooth phone system, and reverse parking sensors, among others. Key differences between the Roewe 750E and the donor Rover 75 are the unique taillights and grille, plus several changes to the centre console.

The only place that sedan is likely to sell well is in the PRC.

Don't be silly, Gunnar. Maybe front styling isn't in good taste (too similar to Audi for me), but the entire look is ok. I'd gladly buy it if I could afford :-)

Wow this is a beautiful car.
May be the front grille looks
unusually big - half the size?
Will drive one anytime.
