Spy Shots: Audi TT-RS

December 31st, 1969 This ordinary looking Audi TT is no run-of-the mill coupe. It is in fact the upcoming high-performance RS version undergoing testing. Look closely and you’ll see huge cross-drilled brake discs with RS labelled callipers and a hidden electronic rear-spoiler covered with a strip of carbon-fiber. Audi is actually developing two separate performance models, the first is the top end TT-RS that’s expected to feature a 2.5L five-cylinder turbo developing over 350hp. Positioned below this car, but above the 3.2L V6 TT will be the TT-S equipped with the TFSI 2.0L unit from the S3 hatch. Expect power levels to be close to 280hp. Both cars will utilize either a conventional six-speed or S-Tronic dual-clutch transmission driving all four wheels. Via: Autoblog.nl
