December 31st, 1969 A very rare Lamborghini MIURA “S” has turned up for sale on eBay with only 14244 miles on the clock despite it being a 1970 model. Everything about the car is factory original including its Giallo yellow paint and blue leather interior. Only 140 S edition Miuras were ever made, so this car is very rare indeed. The previous owner restored the car recently, giving it a full service including an engine refurbishment, new clutch and bearings, shocks, window motors, fan motors, all filters, fluids, hoses, cam job complete and all gaskets. The Miura S or P400S was originally introduced at the Turin Motor Show in November 1968. The car runs a 3.9L V12 engine mounted transversely and develops around 370hp. The current bid is at just over $205,000 although it’s expected to reach around half a million dollars. [Source: eBay Motors]
