Currency Motors’ 800HP Twin-Turbo M5

What do you do when your 500hp M5 just isn’t doing it for you anymore? You call California-based Currency Motors who, by adding a pair of turbochargers, turns the standard M5 into the world’s fastest and most powerful four-door luxury sedan on the planet. That’s right. This modified M5 delivers up to 810hp and is capable of reaching a top speed of 240mph.
For the $350,000 price tag, Currency Motors adds its own hand-built intercooler system, a full custom exhaust and of course, two huge turbochargers. In a strange move, the engineers placed the turbos under the rear bumper, forcing the charged air to run up the passenger side of the car. This was necessary as there would have been too much heat if the turbos were up front. Testament to BMW’s engineering, the SMG transmission has been left untouched.
Inside, the leather on the steering wheel and seats gets replaced with fully aniline dyed Florida crocodile in black, similar material used in the finest Bugatti roadsters of the 1930’s. Interested buyers better be quick because there are plans for only 10 copies, and at the moment the car is available in the US only.

with no cats or silencers that exhaust will never be street legal so you may as well just get something else for your money.

das kommt dabei raus wenn sich leute denn scheinbar alle basics fehlen an etwas versuchen wo sie besser die finger von lassen!
die karre kann in der konfiguration gar nicht alltagstauglich laufen.
hoffentlich werden nicht mehr als 10 schöne orischinale M5 vergewaltigt...

you might be surprised, turbos tend to muffle most cars exhaust, it will be loud but not as noticeable as wide open pipes. and how often does a brand new m5 get actually tested. if they can fool the computer to allow boost they can fool emissions, but it would be a good idea to make sure they can pass emissions

The turbos are latching on conductively to a system that is designed for extreme heat and it's dissipation. Now the turbos get to also cool from the airflow beneath the car instead of being trapped under the bonnet with ten cylinders.

This is an example of the up comming production BMW M5 5L V10 Twin-Turbo. I can't wait, this will smoke its competition and more. 240MPH and 0-62 in 3.54 seconds. Its well worth its money. $ 300,000 is cause of the interior materials and such, but a Twin-Turbo should add at least $ 12,250.00 from Factory Manufactor BMW - Bavarian Motoren Werks
