Porsche unveils new Cayman Aerokit
December 31st, 1969
Porsche has given its Cayman and Cayman S line of cars a sportier appearance by adding a new front lip and fixed rear-spoiler. With extensive wind-tunnel testing, engineers have managed to improve on the standard car’s aerodynamics thanks to the inclusion of the new aero components.
Lift at both the front and rear axles is reduced, providing increased stability at higher speeds. Currently the kit is available through Porsche Exclusive in Germany for €3,500, however, it will be offered in other markets as well. Starting from March, Tequipment, Porsche’s own accessories supplier, will be offering the package for €2,950.
