December 31st, 1969 This video showcases the attempt by World Rally Champion Juha Kankkunen to break the world ice speed record, which he accomplished with an average speed of 199.86mph (321.65km/h) last week. The all-wheel drive cruiser was fitted with studded tyres for the record and broke the previous best set by a Bugatti EB110 Supersport.
