Citroen launching the C4 sedan in Europe

December 31st, 1969 Citroen will launch the sedan version of its midsized C4 in Europe, with the car expected to make its debut at the Barcelona’s Motor Show. The sedan has already been on sale in China as the Citroen C-Triomphe for several years now, where it’s manufactured in a partnership formed between the French carmaker and Chinese manufacturer Dongfeng. The sedan is also sold alongside the three-door hatch in Argentina and Brazil. Based on the same platform as the hatch, the C4 sedan features extra legroom for rear passengers and is available with either a petrol or diesel four-cylinder engine. Overall length now measures 4.8m and the wheelbase stretches 2.71m. Inside, the car features a unique air-freshener that allows the driver to change the smell of the interior. Another odd feature is the center of the steering wheel, which remains fixed even when the wheel is turned.
