Volkswagen’s newly appointed Head of Creative Design Flavio Manzoni has revealed key details about the design of several important models including the all new Scirocco and Golf Mark VI. Speaking recently with Italy’s Automobilismo, Manzoni explained that the new Golf is the first car that he’s been assigned to work on and that it is his main priority.
You may remember that VW boss Martin Winterkorn rejected original sketches for the new Golf and Scirocco, demanding that they be recreated. This latest rendering gives some indication as to what the Mark VI Golf will look like as it was compiled by the magazine using information sourced directly from Manzoni.
Manzoni said that the new Golf will adopt the style trend of previous versions and conserve the proportions of the current car. However, the front-end and rear will adopt a new design that will be adopted by future VW models.
For the Scirocco, designers will be revising the car’s front end as well as the flanks in an effort to tone down the concept car’s aggressive style. Why VW would want to tone down one of the slickest concept cars we've seen is beyond our comprehension, but that's how car companies sometimes work.

This is the new face of VW? What the hell happened to the Scirocco concept? They better not have stuffed it up.
True it's just a rendering but this thing looks awful.

Holy shit! That thing is so ugly I let out a little girl scream of fright...
Nah... That can't be it. I'm sure this is a brilliant ploy by VW to throw the competition off their scent. Either that or they've hired some designing reject from Ford. If they put this on the street they're gonna lose so much money that a Porsche takeover will be a sure - and good - thing...

If that's the new face of Volkswagen, they can expect their sales to go to the crapper!
What ever happened to design-oriented focus groups with the potential buyers of their vehicles?

Thi is NOT a new VW. There are thousands of bad pictures like this in the WWW informing about false news of new cars. What this photo really is "a shit", and I can not believe how can I spend my time reading these news written without any sense. If you really want to see the Golf VI filter in Google photos yjr words GOLF VI.
