Lamborghini Murcielago LP640 by Edo Competition
December 31st, 1969
German tuning house Edo Competition has taken a look under the hood of the Lamborghini Murcičlago LP640 supercar and worked its magic to the tune of 663hp, 23 horses up on the factory model. Torque from the 6.5L V12 is increased from 660Nm to 675Nm at 5,600rpm, which results in final acceleration numbers of 3.8 seconds for the 0 to 100km/h sprint and a top speed of 348km/h.
The extra oomph is courtesy of modifications to the engine’s ECU, special high-flow air filters, high-performance catalytic converters, an exhaust butterfly valve control (remote-controlled on request), a high-flow muffler and stainless steel exhaust tips.
Not wanting to mess with the near-perfect lines of the Murcičlago, developers added only minor additions to the car’s bodywork. These include a specially designed rear wing with an adjustable lip and custom paint jobs for the wheels. Inside, the guys at Edo have added a rear view camera and a splashing of carbon fiber.

isb't the 0-100 time for the standard lp640 3,4seconds? so why shoult this one be slower with a stringer engine?
By admin #2, Posted: 6/21/2007
3.8 seconds is the official estimation given by EDO Competition. We suspect it may be a little quicker than this.

Don't know how much the tuner wants for those extra 23 ponies but whatever it is it's not worth it. The LP640 already has over 630 horses. Why would I pay good money to up it up negligible levels?

i've informed concerning the 0-100 time. edo has never been talking about 3,8 sec. it's definetely 3,4! see on his site: www.edo-competition.de
