Spy Shots: Undisguised 2008 Honda Accord
December 31st, 1969
Due for release in several months’ time, an undisguised production ready 2008 Honda Accord has been spotted by spy photographers during a photo-shoot in Canada. Now in its eighth generation, the popular family sedan has grown in size and features a wider and more aggressive stance.
Soon after the release of the sedan, Honda will also launch a new coupe model with both cars sharing similar styling. Power will come from a revised version of the 3.5l V6 engine, with power levels up around the 270hp mark.
A smaller 180hp 2.4L four-cylinder will also be included, as well as a new clean-diesel variant. Honda confirmed earlier that the Accord Hybrid would be dropped from the lineup, instead replaced with an ultra-efficient clean diesel.
The official release of car is scheduled for late August but in the meantime you can head over to Jalopnik to see more shots of the undisguised Accord.

I\'d seen in another blog about the launching of this 2008 Honda Accord in a private island in Boston. This 2008 Honda Accord, operational with its impressive Honda Accord exhaust, will be welcomed with a junket as written in this article:

I definitely like the 2007 Camry better. But I have my pet peeves and the Camry's foot activated hand brake is one of them so if the Accord has it in the right place it would make the difference for me as a buyer.

looks better than the last one but I do see some acura, and camry in there but it's a good mix.

I like it for the most part. The front does look a little odd but overall it reminds me of the Acura RL from some angles. I also read on the Honda site that the new NAV system in the new Accord is directly from the RL except the NAV screen is 1 inch bigger on the new Accord over the RL
