Designers build their own ‘Dino’ concept
December 31st, 1969
Last month, images were released of a stunning design study of a mock Ferrari Dino that was created by design student Ugur Sahin. The Dutch design student created a car that he felt envisaged a new theme for Ferrari that was stylish, modern, dynamic and organic while staying true to the lines of the original Dino.
The design proved so popular that a team led by Ernesto Freitas, from Portugal’s Luso Motors, a company that specializes in building powered go-karts and scale cars, has gone ahead and put together their own full scale model of a pseudo-Dino built entirely of foam.
Whether or not Ferrari actually builds the Dino still remains to be seen, but, in the meantime, head over to our friends at Autoblog.nl to see more images of the concept study.
