Aston Martin offers lifetime Sirius Satellite radio in US
December 31st, 1969
Aston Martin and Sirius have announced today that satellite radio will be available on all US delivered V8 Vantage and DB9 models starting from August. All future Astons sold in the US will also get the Sirius service, which comes with a lifetime subscription for those who can afford the exclusive cars.
Sirius offers more than 130 channels and when combined with Aston’s Linn stereo system will give owners a little slice of audio nirvana. In total, there are 69 music channels and 65 channels of sports, news, talk, entertainment, traffic, weather and data, but, best of all, it’s all commercial free.

1. That is a gorgeous car.
2. What does Sirius cost? $9 per month? "Lifetime" subscription for 20 years, is abot $2k? :)

1. Yep! Saw a DB9 the other day on the street. Had to stop myself from chasing after it :-)
2. Why would Aston Martin make their customers face the possibility of having to listen to that talentless turd Howard Stern even by chance while flipping stations?

Not all channels are commercial-free; the music channels are and most of the talk channels are. Some sports channels aren't. Most important on the music channels, which are great. Now, if only I could afford an Aston.
