December 31st, 1969
Renault will unveil five new production cars and two concepts at next month’s Frankfurt Motor Show including the debut of the first-ever estate version of the Clio hatch. Picking up the Clio Sport Tourer moniker, the new wagon measures 4.2m in length and offers a total of 439L of storage space.
First sales will start in the first half of next year, where it joins similar compact wagon models from the likes of Peugeot and Citroen. The new Clio Sport Tourer will be joined by the Hatch and Sport Tourer versions of New Laguna, which will also be making its world debut at the Frankfurt show.
Renault will also be showcasing its Twingo CC concept car, a convertible version of the Twingo equipped with a folding metal roof previewing a new production model.
