Production Jaguar XF revealed

December 31st, 1969 [Picture removed at Jaguar's request] The Jaguar XF is one of the most eagerly anticipated cars of the year and it’s only about a week until official images and details of the car are released. Teaser images and supposed shots of the new sedan have been circulating around internet forums for weeks now including this latest shot that turned up on the JaguarMania Forums, revealing the new car’s profile completely undisguised. The new XF is a crucial model for the struggling British marque so its styling is very important. The C-XF concept promised a lot but this new image shows a much more mundane car, especially its styling up front. Hopefully the new XF will look better once it’s seen in the metal at next month’s Frankfurt Motor Show. Thanks to Samir for sending in the tip.

  1. they really screwed up those headlights

they should have just left the concept lights

  2. I think it looks great.
Hopefully this pulls Jag out of the fire...

  3. Gawd that's just awful. An $80,000 Hyundai Sonata.

This will be the poison-tipped blow dart into the neck of Jaguar that finally kills the Marque.

  4. From the side I don't like the lights either but I'll reserve my judgement until I see one in real life. But the rest of the car looks nice so far and if they kept much of the concept then it's gonna be a hit.

  5. It looks like a Mazda 6 in drag. Why can't they just stay true to the concept car? For a premium brand like Jaguar, cost is less of an issue since they can charge maybe $70K or even $80K for it, sheesh
