Spy Shots: 2009 BMW Z4’s new nose
December 31st, 1969
The 2010 BMW Z4 has officially been revealed. Click here for all the details and images.
BMW’s next-gen Z4 Roadster has been spotted at the Nurburgring, this time with much of its camo gear removed from the front. Many sources believed this test-mule was a new high-end sports car designed to rival Mercedes-Benz’ popular SL but the familiar Z4 lines seen in this car confirm that this is in fact the Z4.
Clearly seen in the spy shots is the car’s new grille, front bumper and flared wheel arches, which combine to give the new Roadster a much more muscular appearance. The basic shape of the current model remains, but the car’s overall proportions have been enlarged. This is in-line with BMW’s plans to reposition the next Z4 into a higher price point as it makes way for the introduction of a smaller entry-level Z car.
