Honda planning Accord Tourer Concept for Frankfurt
December 31st, 1969
Honda will present a new Accord wagon concept at the upcoming Frankfurt Motor Show, a new model that'll likely replace the current model pictured above. The Accord Tourer Concept gives an indication of the design direction for the next-gen Accord that’s expected to go on sale in Europe by the middle of next year. This is not the same car that was recently revealed for the North American market, which you can read up on by clicking here.
The new concept car will also preview a new low emission powertrain, likely to be the reveal of Honda’s upcoming diesel engine. Other green initiatives will include Honda’s Small Hybrid Sports concept from the Geneva Show as well as FCX fuel-cell sedan concept that’s expected to go on sale in the US and Japan next year.
Also on show will be Honda’s current F1 racing car as well as the Civic Type R and Honda S2000 convertible.
