Spy Shots: Ferrari 612 Scaglietti facelift?

December 31st, 1969 A suspicious looking 612 Scaglietti has been spotted near Ferrari's factory in Maranello, which was seen sporting a pair of odd-shaped bulges on its bonnet. Considering Ferrari is not one to install gimmicky accessories on its cars, it could suggest that this prototype is running a modified version of the standard car’s V12 or a different engine altogether. There are reports circulating that suggest Ferrari is developing a new twin-turbo powerplant for its Enzo-replacement as well as previous rumors of a new entry-level ‘Dino’ in the works. Then again, this could just be a restyling for the regular 612 Scaglietti, which has been relatively unchanged since going on sale in 2004.
