December 31st, 1969 Porsche’s new GT2 isn’t even officially on sale yet and already it’s shaping up to be one of the most exciting sports cars, or should we say supercars, of the decade to come out of Stuttgart. The excitement surrounds confirmation that Porsche test-driver Walter Rohrl can circle the notorious Nurburgring in 7m 31s with the 530hp super-coupe, an amazing one second off Porsche’s official claim.     What would it be like to have the money to buy this car AND have Walter Rohrl teach you how to drive it.

    And while I'm at it, can I have Eva Green in the passenger seat?

    You guys certainly like it, but at $191K I would get a Ferrari Scuderia for $201K. GT2 is just another 911, like the many, many other thousands out there.
    But of course I don't have that kind of money :-(
