December 31st, 1969 The new A4 is an incredibly important car for Audi as it’s not just the largest seller, but also the first all-new A4 for almost eight years. Underneath the skin is Audi’s latest Modular Longitudinal Platform (MLP) that is shared with the Audi A5 and will eventually make its way to more future Audi models. The A4’s design doesn’t try to be revolutionary or polarizing like the BMW 3-series, however this model has numerous small styling details that really work to enhance the look.     Why do I have to be so poor?! I want one!!

    Man, Audi keeps upping the ante with the A4. I wonder how many of my fellow readers find the 3 series or the C class more handsome than the A4. I think not many.

    BTW - I find Audi's electronic hand brake to be such a wonderful thing. To think there are brand new cars out there with foot (hand)brakes.

    Then again both MB and BMW have steering column mounted shifters so...

    The A4 is definitely better looking than the 3 or C. It's cleaner, smoother in design.
