More of Chevrolet’s Camaro up close
December 31st, 1969
A couple of days back GM released a teaser image of the production Chevrolet Camaro's rear end and now we have a new image of the car’s menacing front. Admittedly, when the shot of the car’s rear first turned up we felt it appeared a little mundane, having lost much of the panache of the original concept.
This latest image, however, has completely restored our faith in GM and its design team and we can’t wait to see the final version when it hits the streets in ’09.

Looks awesome.
Can't wait to see it in person.

An insipid car. Another trip down memory lane that few people want instead of looking toward the future.
Bob Lutz strikes again.

Tell that to all the Mustang owners who live on that lane... :)

I wish they did not make the body so large... I thought the same thing, and still do about the new charger.

the new interior is lame, way to retro

Most people I know think the new Camaro looks awesome. I personally think it looks quite futuristic except for the front grill, which is just enough homage to the '69 model.
I am expecting it will sell quite well.

Chevrolets new designs are awesome. This and the Volt looks mind blowing

Another wasted GM effort. They copied the Chrysler 300's high 'waist', slapped a Mustang back and old Camaro front on it. Total disappointment.

As an old timer, and Chevy fan....Camaros will sell due to it's hx.
The grille is too extreme, the top too short and over all flow of the car is too bulky.
Varoooom !
