Video: Farbio GTS supercar
December 31st, 1969
The Farbio GTS supercar has only been in production since September last year but it’s already gaining a reputation as being a car created out of a pure passion for motorsports. As the story goes, the original car design was prompted by a refusal from Porsche to sell one of its GT1 road going race car to a young man in the UK named Arash Farboud. Not one to sit down and lament over his problem, Farboud went out and started his own supercar company. That was in 1998 and since then the company has undergone a name change from Farboud to Farbio and it’s now on the verge of developing two all-new models. Follow the jump for a new video of the new GTS out on the road.

Looks more like a Saleen to me. Either way it's very sharp.

One of the designers apparently worked at Lotus before so I'm not surprised that it shares some slimilarities with the Tesla Roadster.

I think it's a good looking car, with the glaring exception of those graceless gouges in each door. Just looks unfinished, ungraceful.

I like Farboud GTS prototype's look more than the final version

Pure passion for motorsports? That video was made by someone with a pure passion for still photos and a slide projector. Show the car on the track... actually moving. I just wasted over 2.5 minutes watching a slide show.

Wow. Must be NICE to discover that you crap money. I'd LOVE to be turned down for something only to discover i started shitting money and could start my own company, hire all sorts of designers and just start making my own... wow. Well. I got turned down for a loan...so i'm headed off the the bathroom with some prune juice and bran muffins. Wish me luck!!!! *crosses fingers*
