Scion tC RS 4.0 to debut at Chicago Show
December 31st, 1969
Toyota’s budget brand Scion announced today that its second limited-production model for the 2009 model year would be the new tC Release Series 4.0 (tC RS 4.0 for short). Due to hit showrooms in early March, the car will first make its debut at this week’s Chicago Auto Show.
The 2008 Scion tC RS 4.0 comes in a grey mica exterior and features a DAMD bodykit and a new grille. A color-keyed rear spoiler will also be available. Inside, the car comes with grey and black Alcantara seats, “Scion tC RS 4.0” embroidered logos, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, and a black leather and dark wood RAZO shift knob. The cars also sport an individually numbered badge. Only 2,300 cars will be built and will start with a base price of $17,000.
Scion has more in store for the U.S. Auto Show schedule. The carmaker is also planning a new concept for the upcoming New York Auto in April.
